Course overview

The Child Protection course is ideal for anyone who comes into contact with children. This course is designed for people who work around children and need a strong knowledge of child protection. This course goes further into child protection procedures and how you should tackle suspected abuse to safeguard children from future harm.

Child Protection is the action taken to make sure the welfare of children is maintained and they are protected from harm. The course is designed to identify concerns, share information and take immediate action. The course is suitable for anyone aged 16+ and gives delegates the skills to ensure children receive the right help at the right time.

The course is delivered in a classroom setting and comprises theory elements. We are proud of our engaging, interactive training.

Course Aim

To provide important information regarding the safeguarding of children, enabling learners to respond confidently and appropriately to concerns about the safety and welfare of a child.

Assessment

During the face-to-face training, your ability is assessed throughout the day using a range of discussions, questioning, games, and scenarios.

Certification

Upon completion of the course, a certificate will be emailed to you. There is no expiration date however it is advised that you keep up to date with current child protection guidance.
