Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Course Duration – 1 Day

This course is for employees working in a low risk work place who care for babies and children.  This course meets childcare registration requirements for employees working in a low-risk workplace who care for babies and children. Tiny Medics

Course Duration – 1 Hour

First Stop Safety Training are proud to be delivering First Aid training to children across Scotland from as young as 3 years old.  We recognise the importance of educating children. We believe it’s crucial for children to learn basic lifesaving skills.

Annual First Aid Refresher

Course Duration – 3 Hours

This course is for those who have a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and are looking to update skills and competencies as well as keeping up to date with any changes in practice and guidelines. This course is strongly recommended to help prevent “skills fading” during it’s 3 year lifespan.

Paediatric First Aid

Course Duration – 2 days (6 hours per day)

This course is suitable for people aged 16+ who care for babies and children in any professional setting and are required to be qualified in first aid. The course will be delivered in a fun and friendly manner to maximise information retention. Games and quizzes will be used to assess learning meaning no end of training written assessment.

First Aid at Work

Course Duration – 3 Day

This course is suitable for high risk workplaces and recommended for larger businesses and those with more complex risks such as construction, manufacturing and agriculture. This covers accidents and emergencies which could happen in the workplace. This three-day course is valid for 3 years.

Tiny Lives

Workshop Duration – 2.5 Hours

This is a fun, friendly workshop suited to anyone who would like to have basic first aid and emergency lifesaving training involving babies and children. Ideal for parents, those expecting, grandparents, babysitters and carers. Leave feeling empowered and confident if a stressful emergency arises in your presence you would be able to take control.

We organise public events throughout Scotland. Private workshops can be held for a minimum of 4 people from the comfort of your own home.

It should be noted that this workshop is delivered in a non-accredited format. This is to ensure maximum flexibility with content, minimum course duration and cost. We understand a babysitter is not always available so we welcome under 12 months to make life that little bit easier! Baby & feeding friendly.

First Aid at Work Re-qualification

Course Duration – 2 Day

This course is for those who have previously completed the First Aid at Work course and are within the three year deadline for renewal of their FAW certificate. The course is designed for high risk workplaces such as construction, manufacturing, and agriculture.
